What we may lack in big city night life, we make up for in neighborhood activities that foster our heightened sense of community at Carter Plantation. Social events for Carter residents and friends are held at the homes of residents, the Historic Carter House, the Carter Plantation Pavilion and Dining Room, the Carter Plantation Conference Center, and beyond.
Past activities included: pool parties, bunko nights, Halloween costume parties, trick or treat, parades and activities for the kids/grandkids, Mad Hatter Ladies Luncheon, TGIF Couples Golf Scrambles, Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties, Easter parades and egg hunts, St. Patrick’s Day parade, trips to the horse races, and out of town golf outings. And, there is so much more to come.
The Social Committee plans events for all ages and interests, and welcomes your suggestions and participation. For more information or to share suggestions, contact Linda Mundinger (225) 754‐2503, Sharon Bourgeois (318) 364-6804, Susan Calamia (504) 232-9420, and Melanie Carr (225) 933-7273.
